Google Classroom Integration

Math Pyramid is an approved Google Classroom app. We use Google Classroom scopes strictly to allow teachers to roster students and assign classwork through MathPyramid.com. These permissions are used solely to deliver the educational services we provide. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not share this data with third parties. We comply fully with all Google API Services User Data Policy requirements and data privacy guidelines set forth by Google. Google User Data Access and Use

Math Pyramid integrates with Google Classroom to help teachers manage their classes more efficiently. We request access to the following Google Classroom scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.courses.readonly
  Used to allow teachers to view their existing Google Classroom courses and select one or more to connect to MathPyramid.com.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.coursework.students
  Used to post assignments, sync test scores, pretests, and activity completion grades (e.g., practice games) back to Google Classroom.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.rosters.readonly
  Used to view and sync the class roster. This allows Math Pyramid to roster students into the connected course(s) and update the roster as students are added in Google Classroom. Students are never deleted automatically—only teachers can remove students from a class.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.profile.emails
  Used to view the email addresses of students in a class. This allows students to log in with their email address and ensures assignments and notifications are correctly linked to each student. Students may receive automated Google Classroom notifications about assignments. Math Pyramid does not send direct emails to students.

Math Pyramid uses this data only to provide educational services within the app. We do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties. Data is never used for advertising or profiling. Access is limited to authenticated teacher accounts and governed by strict internal access controls.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Teacher Information: Name, Username, Password, Email address, School address, Grade level (if added)
• Student Information: Name, Email address (if using Google Classroom), Assigned username and password
• Automatically Collected Data: Device type, browser, OS, pages visited, aggregated usage statistics

We do not contact students. If students email us, they are referred to their teacher. We will provide technical support to students or parents if requested.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to enable essential features and integrations, including Google Classroom. We do not use tracking technologies for advertising or profiling.
